The Kimmel & Associates Scholarship for Students in Construction

Since Fall 2004 , Kimmel & Associates has awarded the Scholarship for Students in Construction to 138 students at 64 colleges/universities in 31 states who are pursuing an education related to the construction industry and are also, in most cases, currently working for construction companies even as they take their courses. The $1,000 prize lends assistance to young people we believe represent the hard work and optimism that will keep construction healthy and drive the industry forward in the future.

The ConstructionJobs.com Scholarship for Students in Construction

In 2006, The ConstructionJobs.com Scholarship for Students in Construction was established to accomplish two distinct objectives:

  1. To facilitate the professional growth of trades people who are already in the workforce, by supporting ongoing academic study.

  2. To encourage men and women to consider construction as a career, and to offer financial assistance toward that noble end.

The ConstructionJobs.com Scholarship for Students in Construction provides $1,000.00 for up to 10 students annually. We seek to award the ConstructionJobs.com Scholarship for Students in Construction to those whose current course of studies, intended course of studies, and past and current affiliation with construction companies indicate a dedication to the construction industry.

Building Future Builders administers 2 Kimmel & Associates at the University of North Carolina Charlotte Colllege of Architecture (1 undergraduate and 1 graduate award of $1,000 each).

The School of Architecture at the NC State College of Design

Building Future Builders administers 2 Kimmel & Associates at the School of Architecture at the North Carolina State University's Colllege of Design (1 undergraduate and 1 graduate award of $1,000 each).
